Today you are one step closer to a new you – A you that feels empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being. In this demanding world, where responsibility to career, family, and friends can often trump self-care, working to balance the needs of the mind, as well as the physical, spiritual and emotional self can often feel overwhelming.  My goal is to help clients uncover their true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your present life. We will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. Applying an eclectic approach to each client, we are informed by several schools of thought, including psycho-dynamic, relational, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based approaches. Each approach can help to elucidate the origins of psychological distress and help to guide the therapy process.

I believe that the start of any new relationship, therapeutic or otherwise, begins with building rapport and simply becoming comfortable with each other. Once established, the real work can begin.
